Bio

I am retired after 40+ years in the elevator industry, the first 4 as a field engineer with a major company and then 36 years as a mechanic.

My wife and I live, fulltime, in a class A motor home and travel in the continental US.

I still teach online in my union apprenticeship courses as a master instructor – which only means that I have been teaching in the elevator industry since 1981.

I am currently running two Multiplus II 24/3000/70-50 2×120 inverters in parallel with 1500 watt solar controlled by a V  150/100 MPPT.

I built my own LFP batteries.  I am running 5 LFP at 24v nominal with about 1000 Ah usable.
